10th Dec - Sunday

Val's Wedding

Slept at 2am the night before, spent the time packing and getting ready for my exciting week ahead!

Woke up at 5am and went to the bride's house at 6.30am. It is my fourth time being a sister of a bride, does it have any hidden implications?
It was a very fun and sweet wedding. The bride was her normal self, cheerful and bubbly as usual. It shows that ample preparations are important for such an important event. And of course, a very considerate and humourous husband will be great too!

Went around the island with her for tea ceremony and photo taking at Boat Quay. Proceeded to Holiday Inn Atrium to rest for an hour or two before we started to get ready for the big dinner.

Holiday Inn is really nice!

I love the dessert! Note to thyself : Eat lesser during the main course so that I will have space for dessert!

Her wedding was one of the best that I have even attended! Felt really touched and could feel their love for each other. The animation that depicted their love journey was good. I wish that I could put that for mine... that is, if I ever do get married.

Next day at 5am...

11th Dec - Monday

It's the Singapore budget terminal! And I was really enjoying the difference. The difference of minimal shopping.

Touch down in Phuket! I like the beach that I stayed at.

The food was ok, nothing much to rave about. Maybe we didn't order the right stuff.But they do look very yummilicious!

Did u see the sexy babe in the background? Qian tu hou qiao wor!

We were honeymooners!! (Like real, I just wanted a king/queen sized bed)

The elephant is so cute! I wished I could bring it home.

Next day at the beach

Not much shopping I felt really lost initially but somehow managed to convince myself that there was more REAL shopping to be done later in the week.

We hired a car and it was great fun driving around the different parts of Phuket. And I must say, the Honda Jazz is extremely comfy!! I fell asleep while driving out to town. Felt soooo good. And I must express my heartfelt thanks to Alec and Jane for being the driver and navigator for the trip. Without them, it would have been so boring for the both of us... even though it was our anniversary.

Came back on Wednesday. And started packing for my next trip! Yes I took 4 flights in a week.

14th Dec - Thurs

5am...

Changi Airport T1!

I like fuschia cabs. I want to take a hot pink cab everytime I am in Bangkok!

Yes you heard right, I was in Bangkok for the 4th time in my life. But everytime, the shopping just.gets.better!

I would love to take a purple cab too. But there weren't many of them around.
