What I want...

Sometimes.. I just wish that I can always do these things for the rest of my life.. but then we must go on.. we must look forward.. and I feel really very old these days..

I really want to :

- go shopping with Jane until the shops close and we are the last customers for the day before waiting for Alec to come drive us home.
- go shopping with my JC galfrens and scour for cheap deals.. and I mean really cheap like $10 per top kind...
- Studying over at my cousin's house and talk about boys...
- go back to school and sleep at the back of the class while the tutor is going through the tutorials
- go Bangkok and shop
- sleep until 12pm

Bangkok Hotels

School starts next week! Can't believe it. Where did my holidays go!? 11 days of holidays (I don't get 4 weeks ok, it's a fallacy) and I'm away for like 7 days. Went Bangkok and KL this time round and I really really did shop like a queen. Kind of hard for anyone to believe cos this time when I went Bangkok, it was with ... my PARENTS! hahaha, even my parents can't stop me from being a shopaholic.

I want to spend this post on the different Bangkok hotels that I have stayed at. Strange but true, I went Bangkok so many times and I have never stayed at the same hotel. Looks like I have many many more hotels to try out! =)

Novotel Siam Square
My first time to Bangkok and yes, this is the most expensive Bangkok hotel that I stayed at. My rating 4/5. Location wise is good, like 5 mins walk to MBK and every taxi driver will know where it is. Near the Siam BTS as well, but not terribly exciting for me. Rooms were good for a 4-5 star hotel.

Mandarin Hotel
Big spacious lobby. Location wise, near Sam Yan MRT. Not very convenient, but it's near Patpong. Can walk there every night. 10-15 mins walk. Breakfast was very good, a huge spread. Rating 3.5/5. Not very near the shopping areas that I frequent. Rooms were rather old.

Twin Towers
I love the room, super super nice room. Even double beds feel like two queen-sized beds. Too bad the place is rather inaccessible. But taxi drivers all know where this place is. Near MBK but I wouldn't walk there. Rating 4/5. Service is thumbs up. Cute bell-boy. hahaha

For You Residence
Good location in the sense that ALL taxi drivers should know because it is located along Silom Road, one major road in Bangkok. However, the place feels very homely. The floors are wooden, and there are mosquitoes at night. The breakfast isn't buffet, isn't that fantastic either. Not as nice as the pictures shown. Rather disappointed. 3/5.

Samran Place
Good location, near BTS. Can't remember the name. However, must walk 15 minutes to get to my favourite shopping area. Under the hot Bangkok sun... It makes shopping really deary. However, the rooms were huge, beds are small. Breakfast is OK and my parents loved that place. Kept on insisting I book it for our trip. Luckily I didn't manage to book. Rating 4/5

Centrepoint Petchburi
Absolute FAVOURITE! Rooms were big and had EVERYTHING. Stereo System, TV with movies showing everyday, cutlery, kitchen... We even cooked maggi mee that night. Location wise was perfect for me, I can walk over to my favourite shopping mall in just 5 minutes. Location is good but there will be a massive jam everyday. Taxi Drivers all know this place. Rating 4.5/ 5. Not near a BTS. But can walk to Central. Their omelette is the BEST. I have been trying to replicate it, but to no avail. I will definitely go there AGAIN!

Bangkok City Inn
Location is good for me! I can SEE my favourite shopping mall. I even took pictures!! So nice. =) It is nearer than walking from my house to YEW TEE MRT. hahaha... However, most taxi drivers do not know where it is. So if you have booked it, please tell Taxi drivers BIG C opposite the World Trade Centre. If they still do not know, tell them Chidlom station, near Erawan Shrine. I am getting good at this. Food wise is very limited, but not that bad. They even have free dinner for deluxe rooms stay. Be prepared to wait like 45 minutes though. Wasted my time when I could be out shopping. -_- Rating 4/5 (for location)

Ok, that's all for my short reviews on Bangkok hotels. Hope they have been helpful to those who wish to go there, any questions on Bangkok, I will my best to answer. My semi-annual trips are sooo fruitful!!

Going to have a garage sale at my condo next SAT! Come visit if you can. Help me clear my stuff~
