Wheee!!! I am on my way to a complete ban on shopping!Went to Tampines by bus 168(did I mention that I love Woodlands interchange because there's a bus to almost everywhere) and we dropped off at the very big Ikea,Courts and Giant.
The place reminded me of Phuket because it's just huge buildings popping out of nowhere and nothing else around it. The boy remarked that he felt like he was not in Singapore anymore. I felt the same way until I saw HDB flats in the distance. Ugh.
Walked around chattering non-stop and got pulled away everytime I expressed minimal interest in something. I guess that's what I deserve after being such a horrible spendthrift. Still I managed to eat my favourite hotdog bun (only $1!) and he bought something... Finally!
A tea infuser. Yes he is that intrigued with it that he kept on playing with it. What an amazing design.
As for me, I have finally decided on embarking on something to keep me from shopping. Even though I have to buy something first in order to keep me from more shopping. Hmmm.. sounds so much like the character in the Shopaholic series. hehe... Which reminds me, I haven't got down to collecting it. Anyone selling it for $5/book please let me know. I seriously broke. Exchange for makeup anyone? =)
So, I must endure and save up for Jane's USA trip and my BKK trip ( yes, again - I am going there to stock up on children's day pressies ). No more splurging! I have no more space to put anything at ALL.
Until the next next payday that is.
